Senior Civil Designer
A Senior Civil Designer is responsible for the civil design portion of a multi-discipline petrochemical project. Candidate also directs other drafters assigned to the project team to meet the work requirements. Candidate will work closely with the Project Lead Civil Engineer and/or the Civil Engineering Team Leader in order to meet the project objectives. The work may involve all phases of a petrochemical project from conceptual plant layout throughout detailed design, procurement, quality control review and construction support. We are looking for good candidates that will grow with the Company. This position requires occasional travel to job sites for survey, job walks, meetings, etc.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Design/Drafting and CAD or equivalent, with training in civil design.
10
years experience in civil design for projects in the oil & gas industry or industrial facilities; Plus 2
years experience in field work.
Capable of preparing civil plans, layout, details, drawings, MTO, QA/QC drawings review, construction field support, etc.
Computer skills include: AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiar with California Building Code (CBC).
US citizen or a permanent resident and have good communication skills.
Pre-employment Background Check and Drug/Alcohol Screening are required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
